Hinduism

Khastriyas are the second caste in the caste system.  They are the warriors and protect the Brahmans and the sacred animals like cows.  Initially, the Khastriyas and the Brahmans fought to see who were the leaders of the Hindu society, and Brahmans won.  The Khastriyas were formed because in the Aryan society, the men who handled the military work became known as the Kshatriyas.
