Kali is known has “She Who Is Black” or “She Who Is Death.” Kali is the goddess of violence and death. Kali is shown in black or blue with a snake-like tongue. She is wearing a skirt with arms on it and a necklace with beheaded heads on it. In one of her multiple arms she is caring a decapitated head. She is usually standing or dancing on her husband which is the god Shiva.
